In Wyoming, cannabis is strictly regulated and has yet to be legalized in the state. The penalties for possession of cannabis vary depending on the amount but can range from a fine to jail time. It is illegal to sell, distribute, or cultivate cannabis in Wyoming, and those caught doing so will face serious penalties. Wyoming's Licensing Information

Medical and recreational use of cannabis is illegal in the state of Wyoming, so keep in mind:

  • Possession of up to three (3) ounces of cannabis is a misdemeanor punishable by up to one (1) year in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. 
  • Cultivation, consumption, distribution, and possession of cannabis are illegal.
